Many people asked me what did I use to clear my skin. Besides trying many products and testing to see what worked for me I can say Proactiv worked. However, I tried many products that were either drugstore or highend brought. Furthermore, your skin is not the same as the next person. That is why you need to research and see what actually works for you.
I begin using Proactiv 3-Step Acne Treatment System after I decided to stop using topical creams. I wanted my skin to be clear and I knew I had to start by using a product designed to help my acne and that is when I found out about Proactiv. There are so many products available nowadays for acne and you can research all of these products online. In a way it can make your task easy or it can complicate it with so much research.
Proactiv 3-Step Acne Treatment System (30/60/90/120 days).
The Proactiv 3-Step Acne Treatment System is a kit designed to help fight acne.
It includes a cleanser, toner, and repairing treatment.
When you first purchase this kit you need to read the instructions on how to use it. Additionally, before you dive in to this product you should test it out on your neck area first to see if you have a skin reaction. Rather than applying it directly to your face and having some sort of reaction.
How to Apply.
Step One: Cleanse. Renewing Cleanser. Massage a generous amount on to damp skin 1 to 2 minutes
Step Two: Tone. Revitalizing Toner. Apply a thin layer over entire face using a cotton ball or pad
Step Three: Treat. Repairing Treatment moisturizes your skin
Step Four: Don’t forget to use sun screen
When you first begin using Proactiv you should only use it once for the first week, after the second week you can use it up to two-three times per day. When I used Proactiv I mainly used it once in the morning and once at night.
Even though I had acne-prone skin and oily skin I felt as is Proactiv actually helped with reducing the oily skin around my forehead. Using Proactiv really helped me fight my acne problems and even now I still use the cleanser if I notice a breakout from time-to-time.
Which Kit is Right for You?
When I first received this skin treatment as a gift it was a 30-day treatment. However, after the first 30-days I was online ready to order my second kit. This time I went up 60-days. I felt that the size of the bottles is great and it also felt as if the treatment last longer. When my 60-day period was up I still had some of the treatment left.
Moreover, I placed my next order and purchased the 90-day kit and I was shocked! These bottles are larger and really last. I never experienced any skin problems such as irritation or redness when I used these products together. Due to that reason I knew I would be fine purchasing the 90-day kit.
Lastly, halfway through the year of fighting my acne-prone skin I saw how much my skin had cleared. I begin with a 30-day treatment, then 60-day treatment, and lastly, a 90-day treatment. I did not notice that once I had finished my 90-day supply I was 6 months into using Proactiv. Furthermore, I decided to order the largest bottles they had available which was the 120-day kit.
I must admit, it was a lot but I didn’t want to keep purchasing a kit once every 30-60 days so I decided to stick to either the 90-day or 120-day kit. In which I felt as if lasted a lot longer.
After a year of using Proactiv a lot of my acne had disappeared and it was as common. I didn’t really experience breakouts unless if I was stressing out over final exams.
Did Proactiv Work?
In my opinion, YES! It was a journey and I did not want to continue using any topical creams. Proactiv really helped my skin when I had tried just about every product available. Therefore, I always recommend this product when people ask how did I get clear skin when I once had acne.
